DopaMenu is a personal activity tracker app designed to help you organize and track activities that bring you joy and healthy dopamine hits. The app uses a menu metaphor with three categories: Appetizers for quick dopamine hits, Main Courses for deep satisfaction, and Side Dishes for small productive tasks. We are transparent about our data practices and committed to your privacy.

2. Data Collection Overview

DopaMenu is designed with privacy in mind. All your activities and data are stored locally on your device and the app does not require an internet connection to function.

3. What Data We Store

3.1 Dopamine Activities Local Only

DopaMenu stores your activities locally on your device:

• Activity Title: The name you give to each activity (e.g., "Morning yoga", "Read a book")
• Category: The category you assign (Appetizer, Main Course, or Side Dish)
• Icon: The icon you select for each activity
• Color: The color you choose for each activity
• Pinned Status: Whether an activity is pinned to appear in the widget
• Completion Status: Whether an activity has been completed today
• Last Completed Date: The date when an activity was last marked as completed

Storage: These activities are stored using SwiftData, which is a local database mechanism on your device. This data never leaves your device.

Sharing: This data is never shared with external services, third parties, or transmitted over the internet.

3.2 App Preferences Local Only

DopaMenu stores minimal preferences locally on your device:

• App Settings: Any settings you configure within the app

Storage: These preferences are stored using iOS UserDefaults, which is a local storage mechanism on your device. This data never leaves your device.

Sharing: This data is never shared or transmitted anywhere.

4. Third Parties & External Services

DopaMenu does not integrate with:

• Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Cloud storage services
• Third-party APIs
• Social media platforms
• Crash reporting services

5. Data Storage & Security

5.1 Local Storage

All data stored by DopaMenu is kept locally on your device:

• SwiftData: Your dopamine activities, categories, completion status, and pinned items
• UserDefaults: App preferences and settings

5.2 Security

We take security seriously:

• All local storage uses iOS standard security mechanisms
• The app operates entirely offline, reducing security risks
• No network communication means no data interception risk
• The app does not request any sensitive permissions (no location, camera, microphone, contacts, etc.)

5.3 Data Retention

Data is retained as long as you use the app:

• Activities: Your activities remain on your device until you delete them or delete the app
• Local Preferences: App preferences remain on your device until you delete the app or reset your device

6. Your Rights

6.1 Access to Your Data

Since DopaMenu stores data locally on your device:

• All your activities are visible and editable within the app
• You can view, edit, or delete any activity at any time
• All stored preferences are accessible through the app's settings

6.2 Deletion of Data

You can delete your data at any time:

• Individual Activities: Delete any activity by long-pressing it and selecting "Delete"
• All Data: Delete the app from your device to remove all activities and preferences
• Preferences: You can reset preferences via the app settings or by deleting and reinstalling the app

6.3 Right to Object

Since DopaMenu does not collect or share any personal data, there is no data processing to object to. The app operates entirely locally on your device.

7. Permissions

DopaMenu does not request any sensitive permissions from your device:

• No location access
• No camera access
• No microphone access
• No contacts access
• No calendar access
• No photo library access
• No network access required

The app only requires standard iOS app permissions to function as an activity tracker. Widget functionality uses standard iOS widget extensions and does not require additional permissions.

8. Children

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
